With more than 20 years of automotive experience, Simon Wakim has forged a reputation as both a dealer and a visionary. From the luxury showrooms of Sydney to advising on national EV launches in Australia, he has lived every side of the automotive industry.

Simon began his career in the premium car sector, founding and running multiple dealerships with a focus on integrity and customer care. His “Guaranteed Buy Back” policy at his Camperdown dealership became a hallmark of trust and accountability – ensuring every sale was backed by quality and confidence.

As the future of transport shifted towards decarbonisation and innovation, Simon’s focus evolved with it. He played a consulting role in the Australian entry of global EV leader BYD and became an advocate for the ecosystem that supports electric mobility – from charging infrastructure to policy and technology. This experience laid the groundwork for GreenDrive Consulting, where Simon now helps organisations transition fleets and develop charging networks, delivering practical pathways to sustainability.

Simon also founded True AI, a consulting practice that helps the automotive sector harness artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, optimise operations, and strengthen environmental outcomes.
